Aida grew up exploring the hills of northern California, but seeking adventure and a mountain lifestyle moved to the beautiful forested lands of Oregon. She attended school at University of Oregon and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Anthropology & Archaeology and a certification from The Outdoor Pursuits Leadership Program in outdoor recreation. During her time at university, she discovered the freedom of the Wilderness and now wants to devote her life to its stewardship and teachings. When not in the field, you can catch Aida climbing at Smith Rock, kayaking any river or lake, trail running near Sunriver, or floating the Deschutes with a coffee and book in hand.
