Miro grew up on a small farm in the woods of Western Oregon but moved after high school to attend Beloit College in Wisconsin. After graduating with a Bio-psychology degree, he spent three years teaching and traveling internationally highlighted by teaching contracts in Ecuador and Thailand. Upon his return to Oregon, he united his passions for the outdoors, education and mental health to work as a field instructor. In his spare time, Miro enjoys traveling, playing Frisbee, and writing.
